A wide range of possibilities

A stay in an outfitter's lodge offers a wide range of activities that evolve with the seasons, as the landscape changes before our eyes. Covered in white, then lush and invigorating, and finally taking on orange hues: this natural environment offers us the most beautiful of spectacles, and a multitude of ways to enjoy it. Just follow the guide!

Spring

The snow finally clears the land, allowing the first flowers of the year to appear. Everywhere, life is back in full swing, and the forest is exuberant about it. It's spring, and the lakes have stalled. From west to east, thousands of enthusiasts flock to outfitters to take advantage of the best fishing season of the year. On lake or river, accompanied by a guide or not, when the fog clears from the water, they see that outfitters work their magic. And for those who enjoy the comfort of our cottages too much, the fishing stories will do the rest!

Summer

With the return of summer, outfitters offer a thousand and one possibilities for the imagination of outdoor enthusiasts. With friends or family, it's an opportunity to take advantage of the accessibility offered by Quebec's outfitters to discover the territory in all its scope and beauty. It's here, in summer, that the salmon swim up the crystal-clear rivers of the province's eastern and northern regions, giving fly-fishing enthusiasts the chance to battle it out in a dream setting. It's also the peak season for walleye fishing, forest hiking, swimming and long evenings spent around the fire recounting the day's adventures. Summer is at the outfitter!

Fall

For many, autumn is the season of colors and smells. The fallen leaves that carpet the ground, the extraordinary explosion of red, orange and yellow that transforms trees into tableaux vivants - all this beauty could make us forget that autumn is also, and above all, the hunting season. It's at this time of year that, following age-old customs, many Quebecers set out in search of moose, one of the world's largest cervids. It's a time when they redouble their cunning and patience to outwit the white-tailed deer that abound in our forests, and travel miles to flush out hares, grouse and partridges. Fall means hunting, and for a successful hunt, there's only one word: outfitting!

Winter

Snowbirds be damned, winter is fun! In the great outdoors, the white expanses are the perfect playground for snowmobilers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers. Under snow-covered trees, it's also time for trapping and ice fishing. Quebec's outfitters are the gateway to all these winter pleasures, making them easily accessible. A unique dog-sledding adventure, an afternoon of fishing in a cabin in the middle of the lake, or a festive evening in a cozy cabin by the warmth of the wood stove - it's all possible at an outfitter. Winter is in Quebec!
