Renowned for its walleye and pike fishing, La Pointe aux Dorés is located directly on the Gouin Reservoir in the South Bay. This body of water of more than 100 km by 60 km is famous for its exceptional quality of fishing. The outfitter is located on magnificent beaches considered among the most beautiful in the north of Quebec. It's a great place to get away in the heart of nature, with an incomparable peace of mind. Located at 3 h 30 from La Tuque or Mont-Laurier and easily accessible by car.

Access
Access to the outfitter is by road from Mont-Laurier (Mont Saint-Michel) or La Tuque. Driving time is the same either way (approx. 3 hrs. 30 min.). Customers are invited to consult driving directions on the website -> https://www.pointeauxdores.com/images/directions/CarteRoutierePapier.pdf. It is also possible to travel by train to Parent or Clova. We can provide transportation between the station and the outfitter ($). If you have your own seaplane, you can use the following coordinates to get to the outfitter (lat. 48º24'24 long. 75º05'53). We do not have jet fuel on site. There are refuelling points nearby.
