Fly-fishing
A rod specially designed to cast an artificial fly (built to resemble various insects) on the water’s surface. The fish bite either because they think it might be food or because the lure agitates them. This is especially true of Atlantic salmon, for which the fly-fishing technique is mandatory (with some exceptions). Fly fishing can be practised from a boat or the shore of any waterway, and for most species.
