Description

St. Paul's Salmon Fishing Club is located on the St. Paul River 40 miles north of the river's mouth and occupies one of the most favorable locations in the area. This location is optimal, providing an advantageous location for safe and easy landing for the small planes flying in and out with our guests. A half a mile above camp, the river runs through a cluster of small islands, providing the best early-season fishing. Later in the season, the fishing is usually concentrated just four or five miles upriver from the camp. The main lodge consists of seven double guest rooms, a dining room and living room. Excellent and hearty meals are served in the dining room by our professional kitchen staff. All the amenities are available: hot and cold running water, showers, indoor toilet facilities and electricity. A satellite phone system for emergencies and/or urgent/personal use by the guests is available, as well as internet service. Atlantic salmon, occasionally sea trout. Most salmon runs on the St. Paul are easily waded. For those who prefer it, fishing from a small boat can be easily arranged. Guides operating canoes powered by small outboard motors will take you to the pools.
