Good news for all outdoor enthusiasts! It is still possible to rent a cottage or a room in an outfitter from December 25th to January 11th.
Take advantage of the “holiday break” to escape the daily routine and relax with your family in the great outdoors.
Secure in Nature
Outfitters are safe destinations!
Well-established sanitary protocols ensure your safety and that of the employees. Moreover, there is more than enough space in an outfitter. It is easy to practise your favourite activities while respecting the distancing rules.
Travelling Between Regions
If you plan to travel to an outfitter, please respect the measures applicable to your region. It is also strongly recommended that you avoid all stops on the road and at the destination. Therefore, do your shopping near your residence and make sure to fill up your gas tank before you leave.
All restaurants and dining rooms will be closed between December 25th and January 11th. However, many outfitters offer a meal service to be enjoyed in the comfort of your cottage. Ask your outfitter to find out if this option is available!
Many winter activities are offered at the outfitter: ice fishing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, etc.
During the holiday season, it will be allowed to enjoy these outdoor activities with friends. However, the maximum number of 8 people must be respected, and all members of the group must comply with the sanitary measures applicable:
- Wear a neck cover or mask (mandatory at all times)
- Respect the distance of 2 metres
- Wash your hands regularly
Relays and shelters
Access to the relays and shelters is also allowed, but we strongly suggest that you check with the outfitter to see if this service will be offered during the holiday season and book your place before beginning your getaway.
