Quebec outfitters are ready to welcome their first visitors in a safe manner

Quebec, May 27, 2020 – The Quebec Outfitters Federation enthusiastically welcomes the Quebec Government’s announcement concerning lodging resumption in outfitters as of June 1st.  

Over the past few days, several Quebec outfitters had the opportunity to gradually reconnect with their clientele for daily fishing and outdoor activities. This partial return to activities has enabled outfitters to finalize the sanitary measures necessary in ordre to receive the first visitors in a safe manner in accordance with Public Health requirements.  

Responsible and Safe Activity Resumption

Several procedures have been developed to ensure worker and client safety in outfitting facilities. “Since the measures are now well set up and since fresh air and space are not lacking in outfitters, opening for family accommodation is the next logical step in the progressive resumption of activities in a responsible and safe manner for everyone. ”explains Marc Plourde, CEO of the Quebec Outfitters Federation.

“The outfitters are ready to welcome you. They were eagerly awaiting the green light from the authorities. ” emphasizes Mr. Plourde.

With the deconfinement and the restrictions alleviated, Quebecers will be invited to get  away with their families, as a first step and then with friends, to rediscover the many attractions of Quebec’s territory.
